Using Kitly

Kitly provides small online utilities for everyday tasks. Most public tools can be used without an account, and features may change as the service develops.

You are responsible for the files, links, and other content you choose to process or create with Kitly.

File tools

When a file tool says it runs in your browser, the processing happens locally on your device for that task. You should still avoid using any online tool with files you are not allowed to handle.

Future server-side file tools must include practical limits, retention rules, and abuse controls before they are offered publicly.

Short links and server-backed tools

The shortener stores the destination and short code in Kitly's database and records operational fields described in the Privacy Policy. Short links do not currently include an owner dashboard, editing, or automatic expiry.

Do not use Kitly to create links that are illegal, deceptive, abusive, harmful, or designed to bypass another service's rules. Creation is rate-limited. To report misuse, email the full short URL and the reason for the report to the contact address below; Kitly can disable a reported redirect, after which it returns a disabled response instead of forwarding visitors.

No guarantees

Kitly is provided as-is. We try to keep the tools accurate and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect results, or suitability for a specific purpose.

Check important outputs before relying on them, especially when the result affects legal, financial, medical, professional, or other high-stakes decisions.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as Kitly changes. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
