Privacy Policy
Kitly is built for small utility tasks, so we keep data collection narrow and avoid moving files through our servers when a tool can run in your browser.
Information we collect
You can use Kitly without creating an account. We may receive basic technical information such as IP address, browser details, device type, pages visited, referrers, and timestamps through hosting logs, security systems, analytics, or advertising tools.
If you contact us, we receive the information you include in the message, such as your email address, the page you ask about, and any context you choose to share.
File processing
Kitly prefers privacy-friendly browser processing for file tools. When a tool says it runs in your browser, your selected files are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to Kitly servers for that task.
If a future tool needs server-side processing, the tool page should say so clearly before use and should include limits, expiration rules, and abuse controls.
Server-backed tools
Some utilities need server support. For example, a URL shortener may store the destination URL, short code, creation time, and operational metadata needed to redirect and protect the service.
We use stored operational data to provide the tool, prevent abuse, debug reliability issues, and understand whether the service is working.
Cookies, analytics, and ads
Kitly may use essential cookies or similar technologies for security and service operation. We may also add privacy-conscious analytics and display advertising, such as Google AdSense, to support the site.
Advertising and analytics providers may process their own signals under their own policies. Your browser settings and regional consent controls may affect how those technologies work.
Retention and choices
We keep operational data only as long as reasonably needed for the utility, security, debugging, legal, and business purposes described here.
For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact contact@kitlyapp.com. We may need enough information to locate the relevant record and verify the request.
