About Kitly
Kitly is a growing workbench for everyday browser utilities: the kind of small, practical tools that should be quick to find and simple to use.
What Kitly is for
Kitly focuses on standalone utility pages for common tasks like converting images, compressing files, extracting text, and cleaning up links.
The goal is a fast, multilingual, SEO-friendly site that can keep running cheaply while giving people useful tools without an account wall.
Privacy-friendly by default
File tools are designed to run in the browser whenever practical. That means the work can happen on your device instead of requiring an upload to Kitly.
Some tools, such as short links, need server support. Those tools should be explicit about what is stored and why.
Languages and access
Kitly supports English, Portuguese, and Spanish from the start. Public page slugs stay stable across languages so each tool has a predictable home.
The site does not include a language selector by default; localized routes are available directly and the home page can route visitors based on browser language.
Roadmap
Kitly currently has 4 live utility and 1 planned utilities in the public tool index.
Planned work includes more browser-side file tools, stronger short-link controls, and practical operations work to keep the public utility site reliable.
